6. Hidden Treasures in the Surroundings of Buda; 4-5 hours
This tour is designed for those who dislike busy tourist sights, however they want to see remarkable places that are not only surprising but also filled with everyday life. Driving not more than half an hour each time travelling between two places, we can see three of the following four possibilities.
- The baroque mansion at Nagytétény that houses a fascinating museum of antique furniture from the gothic age to the biedermeier.
- Ecseri flea market
- Open air museum of communist statues and memorials from Budapest before 1990
- Wine-tasting in the vineyards of Etyek
Castles and mansions in Hungary have no elevators but all the other options can be easily done with a wheelchair as well.
